I added a tutorial a while ago for being able to permanently cut trees in pokered. I figure it would be good in shinpokered since there's no logical reason to need to re-cut a tree that already got cut. They don't regrow that fast.
Is your feature request related to a game-play problem?
I don't like cutting a tree, leaving the map, coming back a second later, and seeing it pop back into existence.
