Joomla Search, or basic search, is a simple search extension for the Joomlatools Platform supporting full text search and including support for the opensearch standard.

- PHP 5.5 or newer
- MySQL 5
Joomla Search can and should be installed by using Composer.
Go to the root directory of your Joomla Platform installation using the command line and execute following command:
composer require joomlatools/joomla-platform-search:1.*
