I know this application is intended for use with a 360 controller, but before upgrading to Windows 10, it was working wonderfully with a wireless xbox one controller plugged in with a usb cable. After moving to Windows 10, the left and right triggers now show up as Z Axis and Z Rotation respectively in this interface:
As such, minecontrol's left/right mouse button presses are now both triggered by the left trigger. I also noticed there's now 11 buttons; I assume button 11 corresponds to the guide button, but it doesn't light up there when I press it.
