I’m new to designing color schemes in Tailwind and I’m struggling. I understand there need to be 10 shades of each color, and I managed to create a functional color scheme by reading the docs and reverse-engineering existing themes.
How can I do this better? When I see an idea or inspiration, creating the ten shades with the right contrast and font color is tedious. Am I missing something? Tailwind is supposed to be easier, right?
For example, I tried modifying the Congo theme to have a black background, but adjusting individual shades or using a color palette generator hasn’t worked well. Importing these into the theme often results in mismatched fonts and colors. How should I approach this? The below schema was a product of just brute force and trying it all and it somehow works but i wouldn't know how to make it again.
Is there a way to change the color for light mode? Something like black for dark mode and light blue for light mode?
