It would be awesome to have this in Maven Central, so no extra effort has to be 
put in retrieving this great utility for Maven projects.

Should not be too much work. Use the repository bundle.

Thats fairly easy if you have no dependencies that are not in central and your 
project is open source..

Indeed it seems they've made it easier than it was when I investigated about a 
year ago. It's still a lot of work though. I'll keep you posted if there are 
any developments.

It's done! Version 1.0.2 is now available from Maven Central. I have deprecated 
my private repository (though I'll keep it around for historical purposes) and 
will publish new versions to Central from now on.
