Hi!

I've evaluated syncVersions feature and it works fine - however what I've noticed that it's not possible to control this number - I'm not even sure from which package it's being picked up.

So the suggestion is - could you please allow to pass the version number from outside as a parameter.

The approximate scenario

  • Developer decides themselves which patch level to apply to a root package
  • In postversion script/task we call this executor for each package with a version of a root package
  • The rest of the logic stays same. So it should work as syncVersions - but with predefined version number

Thank you
