GUI Integration

I'd like to use pdfplumber, but from a GUI environment.

I would like to be able to click the rendered PDF and select entities to either suppress or mark / tag.

Has anyone developed a Python PDF viewer that works with pdfplumber to allow selection and / or suppression of individual objects?

I've found naiveHobo/pdfviewer -- it seems abandoned. I got it to run, the GUI is not rendering properly on my Mac. I was able to render PDF pages, but was not able to interact in any other way.
