JuyterLab 4 compatibility

Hi everyone,

I noticed this doesn't open in Lab4, and have been planning to investigate/help resolve related issues. Is anyone else doing work on this? I can coordinate with them if so.

I've been able to successfully build and open in Lab (though the extension is still broken) with these package.json keys, so far (these are rough, may need to tweak the accepted values later...):
