Description

In the file browser, right click on a notebook, choose Open With and then Slides.

The notebook is immediately opened as a slide show, in the main panel.

Context

Nothing but candy to save a bit time when opening slides in a rush at the
beginning of your course :-)

Hi @nthiery. Could you extend this issue?

If I understood the issue correctly, this feature already exists (it is currently broken but is there). You can do Open With -> rise; see the screencast below.

Hello,

I checked with the latest version of jupyterlab_rise, and Open-with
does not show the "rise" option for markdown notebooks, as
described in my (misplaced) comment:
#35 (comment)

Should this issue be reopened possibly adjusting the title with "for jupytext
markdown documents"?
