Can I use Claude with a subscription login instead of the API?

The Claude agent always fails with a "Credit balance is too low" error.
Since I have a Claude subscription, I want to use it with my subscription plan, not through API billing.
Is this possible by changing some settings, or is it only usable with the API billing method?
