How to switch the merge target branch in Magit Status?

In Magit, the branch transient has the option to clear and set the merge/rebase branch (which is bound to u). Is there any equivalent command in Edamagit?

I actually have the same question! I don't intend to merge my branch with the branch it started off from, and I would rather just remove the infomrational Merge:.

I believe this is a git problem, not a edamagit issue.
Running the following command fixed this for me:

git config --unset branch.dev.merge
