Is it possible to find the mappings in the main keymap? When I press "C-x", I see mappings that are in the C-x keymap. What if I want to see all the mappings that Emacs makes available in a regular text editor like "C-b" and C-f" ?

I don't know if it's possible in guide-key.
Have you tried looking at the output of describe-bindings that is bound to "C-h b"?

I know this is really old by now, and I'm unsure if guide-key has added this feature, but a very similar package which-key can do this via its which-key-show-top-level function.
