Couldn't resolve host 'terminus.getpantheon.com'

Update:
Sorry somehow the way I shutdown and started vagrant no hosts could be resolved. I used vagrant halt and vagrant up and the problem was solved.

ORIGINAL ISSUE:
after I vargrant ssh into the box and do a drush ta things start acting odd throwing error like "CONNECTION ERROR: name lookup timed out ". When I execute drush pauth, I get the error "Dashboard unavailable: Couldn't resolve host 'terminus.getpantheon.com'"

I am assuming this is some problem on the pantheon side but have only worked with kalasack a little and it could be something I am doing. Is anyone else seeing a similar problem?

Sounds like it might be a DNS issue.

Can you ping terminus.getpantheon.com from both your host and from inside the box?

Switching your DNS over to google's 8.8.8.8 may help resolution as well.
