I can get my Alexa app to discover the advice. Using the Wiki instructions, I was able to follow everything to a "T" except for these steps:

Role: Create a custom role (this will trigger a new page)
IAM Management Settings:
IAM Role: Create a new IAM role
Role Name: lambda_basic_execution
Click "Allow"

I get this at this point:

I don't get the choice of "Create a new IAM role" or the chance to click "Allow"

These are the policies attached to my function.

Really appreciate the development of the skill!

Any tips or advice to get it working would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I am having the same issue. Maybe the AWS steps changed? I selected the "Create a new role with basic Lambda permissions". All of the other directions were perfect. While my Alexa discovers the device on the computer, it is not recognized in the voice commands. When I go into the Alexa app on my phone it shows that the Skill is not enabled, and it won't let me enable the skill (even though it shows enabled on my PC browser).

same issue here, too. I am not able to discover the device.
I selected 'Create a new role with Basic Lambda permissions' and followed the rest of the instructions, not sure if that's the cause of the problem though.
