Error fetching forecast: invalid key

I am getting the text “There was an error fetching the forecast: invalidkey” in the sidebar where the widget is supposed to be. In the settings, under the “Location” section I enter the desired zip code and there is a search animation, then the zip code and city name show up, so I assume that means that I have entered a valid location, but the error doesn’t go away. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin. Ensured I am using the latest version (2.1.3).
