What's this project about?

PyCon is coming to Montreal in 2014 and 2015. We want to build a Canadian Python community and work together to really showcase the talent we have here when PyCon comes to Canada.

Goals

• Bring together the Canadian Python community: user groups, schools that teach Python, and businesses that actively support development in Python.
• Identify great content we can bring to PyCon.
  • Encourage and support peer review to improve quality of presentations.
• Identify an awesome Canadian to be the keynote speaker.
• Build the PyCon Canada web site (using Python, of course). It should be a model for good design practices.
• Brainstorm other great ideas
• Have fun :)
