I have read that it isn't possible about half a year ago, would it be possible to implement?
Maybe it is possible to close the audio input, switch the input channel and open audio input again?

Would really like this too! The "device selector" example in the project completely destroys and recreates the game object, which doesn't really work if it is referenced in many other parts of the scene, e.g. LaspVfx property bindings.
