Hi @keithrozario, I'd be happy to discuss further, let's continue here or by email? I'd like more info on what the light work entails, for example if there are any workloads to run, logs to check, etc. |
@keithrozario I am ready to help you. If you are interested we can have a google meet and discuss more things regarding the repository. You can contact me via my email ksdkamesh99@gmail.com. Hope you will message me soon |
Hi @keithrozario, Thanks |
Hi @adriaanbd @ksdkamesh99 @Amitdey13 I'm so so sorry for not replying earlier, I must have missed my notifications on this issue. If you're willing to help, I have 3 items on the to-do:
I'm drafting the RFC for (1) and (2) ,but happy to take any help. Keith |
Hi @keithrozario, Thanks |
I'm writing some docs for (2), for (1) let me create a blank repo for you to start with, and from there you can start making the website, nothing to fancy, just a simple query with drop downs etc. Which would you like to do first (1) or (2) |
@keithrozario, Thanks |
Cool. I would say just go for it. Create a new repo, and then I'll figure out a way to deploy into my AWS account. Just make sure it's pure JavaScript which connects to the API. Let me know once the repo is created :) |
Hi @keithrozario, What is my next step please suggest. |
Looking good. Keep on tidying up, I will have to see how I can create a test environment first. |
Hi @keithrozario, Thanks |
Thanks @Amitdey13 . Setup a github project to track some work and invited you. Will take a bit of time (1-2 weeks) to setup the automation. In the meantime, can you try to finish up the repository -- currently there are no API calls being made, it's just a static website. We'll also need to remove Javascript, we only do Python. You can change that to specific python versions. |
Hi @keithrozario, Updates:
Which API should I use to get actual data? Thanks |
Can try this: https://api.klayers.cloud/api/v2/p3.12/layers/latest/ap-southeast-1/, replace the python version and the region with the correct values, and you'll receive a full list json. CORS might not work yet, I'll get on fixing that :). |
Hi @keithrozario, Thanks |
Thanks @Amitdey13 i'll look at this later this week. |
Hi I see some typos in the readme. Would like to lend a hand where possible. Do i just raise an issue or do i gotta submit a PR? |
Hey guys,
I recently switched jobs, and a bit busy these days, and for some reason the volume of issues/requests has increased slightly over the last few weeks.
I'm looking for someone to help me manage the repo, verify pull requests, answer some issues? All I can offer is your name somewhere in the readme (and a coffee/beer if you're in Singapore !)
If you're interested let me know, it's actually quite light work to be honest.
Keith
