Managed to log into 3Box then signed out. Next time I try to log in it does not give me a QR code just tells me:
Approve the message in your
Web3 wallet to continue
When I go the the keycard connect app there is no option or prompt to sign a message. I did get some prompts to sign messages the first time I signed in.

I think it is a problem of the dApp itself which does not correctly handles logout. Try opening the dapp in private browsing (or clear the cookies) and check if you get the QRcode again.
I will check if there is anything that can be done app-side to prevent this
