User Story

As a user, PIIDigger should be able to analyze files for national IDs.

Requirements

  • national_id is a PyPI package that can perform most of the hard work

Inputs

  • A string of text from the filehandlers

Outputs

  • A string of text including the validated national ID
  • Output should be masked

Unit tests

Tests will include:

  • Both valid and non-existing national IDs
  • Text that is and isn't a national ID
