Spyder is not working

Hi.

I have generated a code in xrtqook, which works fine. But when I copy paste it in spyder it generates plots without any beam profile in it. It seems it does not do the ray tracing.

Could anybody help?

I guess you are running your code in IPython console, which is the default behavior, the plots are initialized empty and never get updated. The easiest would be to try running your script in an external terminal (Ctrl-F6 or Run/Configuration per file, ->"Run with custom configuration"->"Execute in an external system terminal")
