This would be helpful for examples etc. Some datasets we want to use, like GPM_MERGIR (short_name="GPM_MERGIR", version="1"; IR brightness temperature) and IMERG (short_name="GPM_3IMERGHH{E,L,}", version="07") are available there (NASA Earthdata).
