Damn it. I actually don't know how to track this down. Because some users get it to work, and some don't.
For a second I though it was a country setting, but yours is actually US .. do you also live in the US?

Thanks Tomas for your reply , actually i live in Canada , but i have changed my amazon account contents settings to US since i have a US address , but still no luck, do you think it checks location of the Alexa Device ip address when it links the skill?

It shouldn't. I also don't live in any of those countries. But I had to enter some existing address in the US .. picked some random street in Los Angeles

Thanks for your efforts Tomas, highly appreciated! I also have the same problem, followed the instruction and also had my brother in law perform it at his place, worked for him but not for me. I have set my address in Amazon to a friend's place in Florida but I am connected from Sweden.

Could it have seomething to do with my router settings? I will try to connect my Kodi device through mobile hotspot this evening and see whether that changes anything coming through another ISP. Any other suggestions that might be applicable?

Thanks again!

Sincerely,

Anders

Same thing is happening to me. I've tried every which way and just can't get it to link. Not sure if its an address issue, I live in the US and never changed it to anywhere else, I did try a couple different addresses in the US with no luck. The kodi connect app seems to connect fine, I've deleted it a couple times and reconnected with no issue.

Thanks for creating an supporting this, I would love to use it.

Please let me know if I can be of any help.

Have same problem, always get "We were unable to link Kodi at this time." I have tried different addresses in different cities (UK,US) white fake address generator (https://www.fakeaddressgenerator.com/Index/index) but still always get unable to link. Anybody have solved it?
