TVDB partially scraped !!

Dear all users and dear Koying,

I have reinstalled yesterday SPMC on my android box and all my series are not completly scraped...(not find at all) I did not have this issue before. I have check serie's name on https://www.thetvdb.com (web site was not down this time) and all is ok.
I have tryed on my android phone, same issue.
I have tryed with KODI 17 / 18A2, same issue.
I have update TVDB extension, and update my series, same issue.

So, do you have the same issue on your side and do you have a solution for me ?

I have same issue since some weeks. The tvdb addon can not find any series anymore, but i have not changed my spmc. I am using the shield TV. Tried also on an other android device. Using Kodi v16.1 the tvdb addon works, so it seems to be a spmc issue. Also in Kodi v17.6 the addon is working fine. I do not want to change from spmc to kodi...

Any ideas?

I am having the same issue on my SPMC 16.7.4 running on shield. It will not scrape TV Shows anymore. In the log file I get a bunch of curl errors. Pretty easy to duplicate - brand new clean install - add a directory with TV shows and try to scrape. It wont scrape anything at all it looks like.

Initially thought it was an issue with the addon - but scraping works fine with a clean install of Kodi.

Hi, since SPMC does not let me update or even uninstall "The TVDB" addon,
I´ve installed KODI on my Nvidia Shield, but the performance is not the same, and some videos made my device to restart (not happening with the same videos and SPMC)
Even I´ve bought MrMC but of course, there was poor addons for searching subtitles in my native language and I almost cry when I´ve found that there was no random fanart option for the home backgrounds.

SO this is what I´ve done: FIRST I´ve asked for the refund of MrMC and then:
This is the only workaround that´ve worked for me:

1. Downloading The TVDB addon version 3.2.7
2. Extracting it
3. Replacing all "The TVDB" with "The TVDB2"
4. Replacing all "metadata.tvdb.com" with "metadata.tvdb2.com"
5. Zipping it again
6. Installing it on SPMC
7. And scrapping with the new addon called: "The TVDB2" :)

If anyone wants the ZIP file, please DM me.
(I don´t know if its "legal" to upload the file in this post)
