Revisit Stupidedi::Editor

This code hasn't been reviewed in a long time, and it currently has low test coverage. Many of the validations are useful, however I think the only place it's used is in bin/edi-ed. Should make sure that the API is usable and provide some example code that demonstrates what to do with the results.
