It would be nice to have this project updated to the latest Scala and SBT version. This project is awesome to automatically deploy play applications.

Try using 0.3-SNAPSHOT, if it works well for you as well, I'll go ahead and release 0.3...

The scala version is 2.9.2. Is this intended? Play uses 2.10.1 I think. However I will give it a try

Play's sbt engine uses 2.9.2.

Would it be possible to enhance the plugin to use Scala 2.10 and SBT 0.13.0 (to get it working with Play 2.2.0)?

Play 2.2.0 uses the sbt-native-packager plugin, which will provide this functions in the next 0.7 release.
See sbt/sbt-native-packager#35
