Attempting to use the app to export passwords from Firefox 62.0.3, Fails with the error:
"Error: Too few bytes to read ASN.1 value."

Both the windows stand-alone version and the linux stand-alone version give the same result.

Please see: #53 (comment)

If anyone else has this problem, https://github.com/cryptism/ff-password-exporter has a patch which I suspect may fix this, and it would be greatly appreciated if anyone who has this issue could confirm to me whether they can successfully extract their passwords running from my fork.

If the fix has been compiled somewhere I can test my case. If the fix has not been compiled I need to know which files I shall download to try to run those in npm to see if it works.

@SteenG Try https://github.com/cryptism/ff-password-exporter/releases/tag/v1.2.1 .

I've never tried targetting windows environments with electron before, so unsure if this will work normally.

I get a different error: TypeError: Cannot read property 'value' of undefined

Hmm, I'm afraid there's not a lot I can do for you right now, unless I end up getting a hold of a database that can repeat this error, sorry about that. From the sounds of it, regular Firefox users will end up getting a password exporting functionality in a couple of months anyway, so hopefully this will all be a non-issue soon.
