Socket IO is a very good technology and now we didn't use even 25% of its abilities. But a lot of projects have a vanilla WebSocket API instead of some libraries. Maybe we need to teach our developers to work with not only socket.io.

I think we can try to fork this project in the future to separate versions - with socket.io and with WebSocket API.

@drgmes also we need to think about more complex projects with WebSockets.
