[Feature] Replace test image

Problem Statement

The test image has vulnerabilities and should be replaced with something like alpine/curl since we don't need kubectl access any longer.

Solution Description

Replace current image with something minimal and secure. Maybe curlimages/curl but it and Alpine both suffer the same vulns as of now.

curlimages/curl:latest still has high CVEs

please add an annotation to allow this image to be pulled from a private repo. This is the only image that pulls from docker.io only and having it pulled from a private repo will allow for environments that aren't able to access public images.
