Could take slides from kubecon presentation that outlines temporary control plane handoff and self-hosted etcd plans.

create a "how it works" document containing the diagrams from my kubecon presentation -- this goes over self-hosting the control plane & self-hosting etcd. Presentation video with slides: https://youtu.be/EbNxGK9MwN4?t=18m38s (still need to make the slides themselves public).
