Current implementation of the Nodelocal DNS cache doesn't mount the host's /run/xtables.lock which could lead to failures/race condition when iptables rules are applied/synced.

the node-cache application is adding several iptables rules to ensure the traffic toward the node local cache address bypasses conntrack table, the existence of these rules are checked at some interval, and without having this lock could cause failures to check and/or apply the required rules.
