Metrics Server compatibility with kubernetes v1.13.0??

I have tried this vanilla with this repo as well as the helm chart. IS there an issue with particular versions and k8s 1.13.0? I have k8s server 1.13.0 running, but it doesn't seem that it is working I keep getting unable to scrape errors which I have found are pretty common but adding additional arguments does not seem to fix the error either.

Yes, Metrics Server is covered by e2e tests in k/k respository, which means that something changed in your kubernetes configuration.

What tools/SaaS have you used to deploy your cluster (kops, EKS, ...)?

kops 1.13.0, k8s 1.13.0, and helm 2.14.3
