Langgraph with role based access to nodes

I'm creating a langraph with multiple nodes which are agents or tools. I want the supervisor agent to call or not a particular node based on User role. How can we make sure that the supervisor node has access to specific nodes based on roles?
Please advice

you could pass in user role as part of the config you pass to the graph. then inside the graph, you could have logic to determine which nodes the user can see based on that. would that work?

I'm able to read the role from config in the start node.
But now I want to pass the role from supervisor to agent node as I want to configure the database in the agents according to the roles, How can we do that? Please advice
