If you have a question or an issue, please follow these simple steps to get help quickly.

Step 1: Search Before You Post

Before creating a new post, please check if your question has already been answered in our Documentation or GitHub Discussions.

• Visit GitHub Discussions Page: https://github.com/layer-3/docs/discussions. If you have found a similar question that was helpful or hasn't been answered yet, please upvote it.

Otherwise, proceed to the next step.

Step 2: Create a New Discussion

If you couldn’t find an answer, create a new discussion.

1. Go to the Discussions page.
2. Click the "New Discussion" button.
3. Select the "Q&A" category.

Step 3: Format Your Post Correctly

Creating a discussion that follows this format helps us respond as fast as possible.

Component
First, identify the component you are having an issue with.

Clear Title
Create a clear and descriptive title. Place the component name at the beginning, followed by a few keywords describing the issue.

• Good Example: Clearnode - Transfer Request Invalid Recipient
• Good Example: NitroliteSDK - Transfer Invalid Params

Description
In the description body, please provide the following details:

• Component: State the component you are using again.
• Expected Behaviour: What did you expect to happen?
• Actual Behaviour: What actually happened?
• Code References: Include links or snippets if available.
• Attachments (Optional): You can attach screenshots or a short video (under 2 minutes) to help illustrate the problem.

Step 4: Submit and Wait for a Response

Once you've filled everything out, click "Start Discussion." This will notify our developers and the community.

Expected Response Time

• Standard: 1-3 business days.
• During Hackathons: Response times are much faster - within a few minutes or hours, depending on the complexity of the issue.
