I left joplin for few months since there was no way to use Joplin as an automated journal app. You have fixed this for me, this is amazing, I see that this is only 7 days old and is already amazing, only if three features were there,

  1. Option to pin calendar as side bar.
  2. Set Templates to open when adding a new note.
  3. Highlighted date to indicate the days which have notes written.

I hope requesting here is fine. Thanks for this plugin.

Pin the calendar as the side bar was my first idear inspirate by Obsidian calendar, but I'm not that familar with js development, I would not be able to implemnt it in a short term. The good news is that there is already a plugin joplin-plugin-bundle has implemented this feature.

As to templates, I haven't decided whether it should be implemented in journal plugin, since there already a plugin Templates

Any discussion about journal plugin here is welcome, feel free to let me know if any questions.

Thanks for pointing me towards this joplin-plugin-bundle, right now it is more suitable for my needs but your plugin has the potential to be better and I will be waiting when its there,

Since joplin-plugin-bundle was dropped is there any intent on adding it to this plugin?
