Howdy @leethomason and TinyXML2 maintainers!

We've been using tinyxml2 for a while and are facing #399 on platforms that ship tinyxml2 v4.0.1 (Ubuntu Yakkety, Ubuntu Zesty as well as Debian Stretch). Is there any plan to back-port the "multiple declarations" feature (#496) into 4.0.1 ?

@mikaelarguedas You might also want to poke the Debian / Ubuntu package maintainer. Maybe they can apply the patch during packaging/

No, sorry, there isn't really maintenance of old versions. The version number is there to indicate an API change, no to track updates of past versions.
