Pals in base dissapear #32
Comments
Ok, so this got weird. The Pal vendor in Small Settlement is selling me back my deleted Pals https://imgur.com/a/127SHl7 |
Similar issue where my pals in base was set to 20. The last 5 pals that were put in base was gone. In my case, the missing pals were just floating mid air in their pal spheres. |
dude, you got robbed by the Pal Vendor XD Most likely I need to update the basecampmod for the latest patch. Let me see if I can recreate this on my side.
I've experienced this before when the BaseCampWorkerMaxNum is changed to be lower than the number of pals in the base. |
I was robbed lol. So the pals end up in their spheres floating above the pal box. I am not the only with this problem: https://lemmy.world/post/13904552 I have tried replacing the files as well as reducing to 20 pals and I have not been able to fix it. |
So I was able to reproduce the issue except it was only 2 pals that would be in spheres near the palbox for me. I'll continue troubleshooting tomorrow. |
I'm sure the Pal vendor will offer you a good deal for the other ones |
Hey, is this issue still being addressed or has the PAK been updated elsewhere? |
I'm having the same issue. Running the windows server with steamcmd using wine in docker on my linux home server. I've got it set to 40 pals per base, which works fine until server reboot, upon which only the first 15 pals are kept in the box and the rest end up in balls in front of it. |
I'm having the same issue, I've got it set to 40 pals per base, which works fine until server reboot, upon which only the first 20 pals are kept in the box and the rest end up in balls above and in front of it. Reading the string of comments above has a fix for this been found? If so can it be post here? Thank You! |
legoduded, have you made any headway on this issue?? |
I did some testing that weekend but i wasn't able to get it working. I was mostly testing on worlds that were created in previous versions and added the world options.sav at level 20. Some things I would like to see tested
There is another tool that does pretty much the same thing (with a nicer webui): It's weird the issue is only while reloading the sever which makes me think it might have something to do with the level.sav. I believe it worked fine in earlier versions so the developers may have changed something. I would say don't restart your servers but I know that's not really an option with the number of memory leaks the game has. 😂 I might also try looking at a single player save to see if level.sav is different for 15 vs 20 pals |
Hello,
I have an issue after the update where any pals over 15 in my base will disappear when the server starts. I can have more than 15 in the base once the server is running, but after server re-start it will delete the additional ones compeltely.
I re-created basecampmod_P.pak (both dedicated server and local)and WorldOptions.sav and re-placed the ones I had and it still behaves the same.
