Forgot as we moved away for packages/* that any other folder isn't picked up I believe (we added codemods/ and experimental/

I guess to be correct it needs to read from packages key

Really begs for a @lerna/config package that exposes how lerna reads its packages config...

That would be cool, I need that too for aliasing lerna packages in other tools like webpack, rollup, jest - was going to ask for public API for this.

Shouldnt be that hard to extract this out, right? If you give me pointers I might work on this.
