How to add users?

Not really an issue:
just tried the remoteStorage docker container (https://hub.docker.com/r/indiehosters/remotestorage/); added user to "server.yaml" by using the "add-user" command but I still can´t login (no error message). What am I doing wrong?

I was able to add a user without a problem using:
docker-compose exec web php bin/add-user username password
