Why hasn't mintupgrade been updated in 21.1 21.2 ?

mintupgrade in 21.1 and 21.2 attempts to DOWNGRADE to 21.0, instead of upgrading to 22.0

This appears to be a massive oversight.

The oversight was in your not updating your software to latest 21.3, which would include the latest version of mintupgrade.
Run mintupdate and apply all outstanding updates before attempting to upgrade to 22.0

Oversight, sure, but not an obvious one.

mintupgrade should include some kind of check/notice than an update is required.
It should also show mint version numbers, not just the release name (we dont all keep track of release names! version numbers are simple).
