Pix crashes when cropping a big JPEG picture

Bug description

I scanned a picture at 2400 dpi. I saved it under JPEG format, its size is 42.3 Mo. I can open it with Pix but when I want to crop it, Pix loads the whole picture and then, crashes.

Steps to reproduce

Scan a picture at 2400 dpi. save it under JPEG format. Open it with Pix and try to crop it.

Expected behavior

Picture should be croped.
