When installing Linux Mint, and we choose the custom install, we get the option to install the bootloader on the device we want (e.g. an external drive). However, the Linux mint installer does NOT respect that selection and it overwrites the main EFI partition's bootloader (on the internal disk).
Please fix this asap, because it's a critical loss of data type of bug. The bootloader should NEVER be overwritten if the user has asked not to.
