Bug description

I started chromium with following commandline

/usr/bin/chromium --ozone-platform=wayland --gtk-version=4 --enable-wayland-ime

then I tried to start screen sharing, but chromium showed option to share only the tabs, I cannot share entire screen. It seems Cinnamon's org.freedesktop.portal.Desktop dbus service don't provide org.freedesktop.portal.ScreenCast interface. I see that cinnamon uses xdg-desktop-portal-gtk backend, but somehow ScreenCast interface is not provided by this backend.

Without Screen Sharing, It is difficult to use cinnamon-wayland on a office setup where Teams is used.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Run this commandline to start chromium with wayland
/usr/bin/chromium --ozone-platform=wayland --gtk-version=4 --enable-wayland-ime
  1. Go to a website which provides options to start screen sharing (eg: https://meet.tamillinuxcommunity.org/join/friendsmeet)
  2. Start Screen Sharing
  3. Try to share entire screen, there is no way to share entire screen

Expected behavior

Entire screen sharing should be available
