It would be nice to have regular snapshot builds provided in a public Maven repository like https://oss.sonatype.org/content/repositories/snapshots/

This could be done by using a Jenkins build that automatically deploys it to OSS Sonatype. I personally use Cloudbees ( http://www.cloudbees.com/foss/index.cb ) for my projects as the service is free of charge for all open source projects.
