• How to Contribute - including links to source repositories, contribution policies, etc.
• Disclaimers - explain the P2P nature of Litecoin, warn about the dangers of web wallets and how each user is responsible for the security of their own keys/wallets.

Looks good to me.

• Credits - list each official Litecoin project and thank contributors → All contributors will be listed? Or more something like "[...] and we thank the contributors of these projects [...]"
• How to Contribute - including links to source repositories, contribution policies, etc. → In my personal experience, I see people often willing to help, but they are a bit lost as to where to start. This page should be well-documented.
• Disclaimers - explain the P2P nature of Litecoin, warn about the dangers of web wallets and how each user is responsible for the security of their own keys/wallets. → Exchange != wallet ;)

While currently many users (relatively) are tech-savvy, in the future this will change and the site should guide any person in the right direction. People who edit the litecoin.org homepage know how to work with GitHub - so that's actually not good as we don't get edits from non-tech savvy people.

How about a page for merchants that explains the benefits of LTC and helps them to get started accepting it?

Promotion and marketing of Litecoin is the role of the Litecoin Association. Litecoin.org is solely development of the software.

Coblee announced that the litecoin.com domain will be made available. That domain can hold the information proposed by AAAdamKK.

@wtogami The new LA website will partially do what you described. Projects will be clearly defined to if they are being completed by the Litecoin Association or the Core Development team.
