Great app! It would be even better with a feature that notifies users when the radio show changes on their current station. As a dedicated listener of "punk irratia," an amazing ad-free punk music station, I'd love to receive push notifications whenever a new song starts playing.

Radio station and radio show, in this case the song currentlyu playing
The program currently "knows" the current radio show, in this case the song playing.

I don't know much about GNOME apps programming but i think this would be a great and not so difficult feature to add.

This is fine, but it is dependent upon how the stations utilize stream metadata. This is highly variable and subjective. I can certainly push when the title changes... but title are not present nor consistent across streams.

Whats your idea on how to handle the variability in metadata streams?

@gorkiiuss - What notification route are you thinking? I checked the D-BUS MPRIS and that is kept up-to-date.
