If the cert expires, this is shown as down in the dashboard + status page if you have certificate checking turned on.
If you enabled further notifications, you will get notifications about this at the specified times.

hello?

Expecting < 24h response times on non-critical open-source support questions is unreasonable, as this is run by volunteers in their spare time.

Does the feature still work if it is marked as stopped? I would like to know if it is still working and not going offline.

I would have to dig through the code, but if it were to notify if stopped, I would consider this a bug.
Same as if it were to notify during a mainanance period (instead of directly after if still expired)

Why are you asking this?

Why are you asking this?

I wanted to make sure I understood what happens when the certificate expires.

Is this your question resolved? (if yes: remember to close this issue, if no: what do you need further help with?)

You can always try and answer yourself.
