[groups] Multiple group membership for monitors

I just found out that you can add monitors to groups, which is great as I have some services that need 2 or more devices to work. (e.g. VPNs). But I'd like to add some of them to multiple groups. For example, I have a device that is a sort of central point to which other devices connect. So I have several VPNs in which this particular device is required to work.

The current situation is that I can only assign one group per monitor.

Please allow multiple groups to be assigned to a monitor.

❓ Alternatives

An alternative would be to allow monitoring tags. (Currently a monitor can have multiple tags and a tag can be assigned to multiple monitors).

I don't know if this alternative will be more chaotic, but I think it will be easier to assign devices to multiple groups.
