New parameter request

Is there any possibility to add a parameter called PowerOnOffTime. This time is the time that the device delays to power on or off, like a smart TV, my own takes 8 secs to start. When using pingIPAddress parameter to determine state, while the accessory is starting, state changes off and on depending of pingfrecuency.
My idea with this parameter is stop ping during power on and off , so the state of accessory is not queried until it finish to being on or off.
