Add remote shutter for a phone camera #805

Not sure if it has already been implemented but it would be good if you could trigger a remote shutter on a layer shift or something for cellphones.

Not sure if you know but the remote shutter is just a Volume up command when in camera mode. I guess it would work like this.

Pair your phone with ESP3D
Put the phone in camera mode
On layer shift volume up 0x41

This would be a great addition I think for timelapse photography.

Not sure to understand
ESP3D only support Serial BT not BT so cannot control the phone camera or anything on phone

Serial BT is used to communicate with App like https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=in.co.gorest.grblcontroller&hl=en&gl=US

But if you use ESP32Cam - that feature is already implemented, picture is saved on ESP32Cam SD

This is fine, I will get an ESP32CAM and see if I can get it to work. Not too much documentation or videos on this feature?

Yeah, struggling to compile I might have to wait for the Beta. I get /home/jason/snap/arduino/current/Arduino/ESP3D-3.0/esp3d/src/modules/filesystem/flash/littlefs_esp32_filesystem.cpp:26:22: fatal error: LittleFS.h: No such file or directory I have this library installed

this has nothing to do to alpha beta - compilation and usage are already fine - alpha state is just due to fact it miss features from todo list

Your error just means you use old esp32 core - I am guessing your json file is old and you use 1.X esp32 core when now we are in 2.x but the 2.X need updated json - check esp32 arduino instructions

ESP32Cam use SDIO not SDFat
But anyway I never have this issue - can you share the Configuration.h file you are using ?

Did you used the ESP3D configurator to generate the Configure.h ?

now you have working env - actually you need to reflash
because your Configuration.h does not have camera enabled currently neither SD Card configured

Yes, thanks for your perseverance. I just used your configuration.h and it worked immediately. Might be an encoding thing? Super weird.

Well I have noticed you use Serial 1 in your config instead of Serial 0, Serial 1 pins are 16/17, these pins are actually used by PSRAM so that may explain the dead loop
